Hearing about Tumblr all day on CNBC is pretty surreal.

I don’t think any major changes are coming to Tumblr any time soon. The user base here is notoriously melodramatic.

Reminder: r/mensrights is a designated hate hub

Be careful when you talk to people involved with that movement.

Writing is objectively easier than math.

You’re surrounded by words and letters every day. You have no choice but to be exposed to it. Someone can learn to write well by just paying attention to the world around them.

You need to specifically study math for hours on end to even approach understanding.

Nothing is going to happen.

Chill out.

Quote
"Yes, false rape accusations happen. Run the protocol anyway. I’ve heard that perhaps the military has the highest number of ‘em. True or not, RUN THE PROTOCOL ANYWAY. Because in 15 years of investigating rape accusations, I can count those that panned out as false on one hand. Meanwhile, the one time I almost skipped the protocol, the one time I almost didn’t believe a petty officer, because I was naive as an investigator and a young woman, because her commanding officer described her as “a party girl, always late, always out drinking, don’t bother with this one”, she turned out to be the victim of one of the most brutal assaults I’ve ever investigated. She shouldn’t have still been -alive-, let alone up and making the accusation. So let me repeat: five false accounts in fifteen years. And one time I almost failed a woman ‘cause of the bullshit way it’s normal to talk about us. Take your shipmates’ word, and then run the protocol. Every. Single. Time."

And here’s one of the reasons why the “Men’s Rights movement” is hateful and bigoted.

I just witnessed one snake fuck another snake while it was eating a frog. The frog got away after we killed the one snake. How was your day?

why the fuck would you do something so awful and unnecessary?

three cheers for this dumbass

That snake is deadly if you get bit. And I baby sit kids who play in that creek. So my neighbor killed it.

The snake is NOT VENOMOUS, its a NORTHERN WATER SNAKE they ONLY eat FISHES and FROGS. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH OR CALL Animal Services.

dinosaursandotherawesomestuff replied to your post: Remember months ago when I complained about the casting of Khan in ST:ID?

So you wouldn’t recommend the movie? I mean I’m not too big on ST’09 and I have been skeptical about ST:ID.

I haven’t seen it yet, but the role of Khan was blatantly white-washed. They replaced the sexy Ricardo fucking Montalban with the most awkward-looking white guy they could find. I don’t see how that makes sense at all.

Remember months ago when I complained about the casting of Khan in ST:ID?

And all his shithead fans attacked me?

Wow, they all look stupid now.

Just watched “In the Pale Moonlight” for the millionth time.

One of my top three favorite episodes of “Star Trek”.

It’s so masterfully done.

That wombat’s scratching its belly.

I don’t think that’s a wombat.

looks more like a hyrax, I could be wrong though.
