The Japanese Dwarf Flying Squirrel (Pteromys momonga) is a small (10-14 cm) rodent endemic to Japan, and is found on Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu. They are strictly nocturnal and silent in flight.

And it is incredibly cute.
